Have you ever tried to read while someone is watching videos with the volume on? Staff at the Green Street Public Library noticed this problem in the teen area: many students came to do homework, but they often left early because of noise. Some visitors also said they felt embarrassed to ask others to lower their voices. To make the space more comfortable, the library is testing a “Silent Corner”. At the entrance, a sign explains the rule: no phone sound and no group chatting inside that corner. Anyone can use it by choosing a seat with a green sticker. If a visitor needs to take a call, they can step outside for a minute and return. After two weeks, the staff will count how many people use the corner and will read short comments left in a box near the door. If the test works well, the library plans to create another quiet area on the next floor. Analyze how the paragraphs work together. Identify the main function of the second paragraph in building the text’s overall message.
- A) It concludes the text by reporting results and asking for opinions.
- B) It presents the actions and rules that respond to the problem described earlier.
- C) It explains the reasons why the teen area became noisy.
- D) It tells a personal story to entertain the reader before giving information.
- E) It compares the library with other places to justify a new policy.
✅ Resposta correta: alternativa B
Resolução passo a passo
To make the space more comfortable, the library is testing a Silent Corner'.
- Conclua a função do parágrafo.
- Verifique as alternativas erradas.
