Near the entrance of the town library, a digital board will display a notice written by two teenagers. Their draft says: “Our reading workshop happen on Saturday. It is for every residents. Bring a book. Bring your favourite book.” Before publication, the librarian leaves three notes: correct verb and noun forms; join ideas that repeat; keep the original information. The notice must remain friendly and clear because families will read it quickly on their phones. The library has not defined a starting time, and participants may choose any book they want to discuss.

Push notifications kept arriving on the CoastalBike app: “The lock won’t open!” Because many tourists use the service, the team writes its Help Center in simple English. A volunteer drafted an answer, but the editor sent notes before publishing: keep each step short, use clear action verbs, avoid slang and guessing words (maybe, a bunch), do not suggest leaving the bike unattended, and make the steps consistent (Step 3 already tells the user to wait 30 seconds before tapping again).

1) Check that Bluetooth is on and you are within 1 meter of the bike.
2) If it still doesn’t work, try again a bunch of times really fast, or just walk away and come back later.
3) Wait 30 seconds, then tap “Unlock” once more.
4) If the lock stays closed, take a photo of the bike code and contact Support in the app.
